Learning objectives include: Discuss issues related to medication safety in hospitalized patients; Identify changes in policies, laws and regulations that may influence the practice of pharmacy in the institutional setting; Discuss the clinical and financial impact of new drugs, therapies and technology on health-system pharmacy; Identify future trends in health care and pharmacy practice that will influence decisions made by hospital pharmacy leaders.

Successful completion of this program requires that participants certify that they have listened to the audio program, reviewed the written material and completed the online post-test and evaluation form. ACPE credit information will be transmitted to CPE Monitor™ by Hospital Pharmacist Monthly on a monthly basis. Participants must provide Hospital Pharmacist Monthly with their NABP registration number and month/day of birth in order for credit to be provided.
